First Look at Zimbra 6.0

Zimbra is a competing platform against the Microsoft Exchange server and we look at their latest version

I remember Zimbra from about three years ago when I was looking for an Exchange Server replacement because of my move to Macs. Zimbra was an option which I wasn’t necessarily too excited about due to the sync errors but a lot has changed in three years. Zimbra is now part of Yahoo! and has recently released v6 of their platform.

I had a chance to sit down with the awesome guys at Zimbra for a few minutes at GITEX where they demonstrated the new Zimrba 6.0 to me which certainly looks good and could prove to be a worthy competition for Microsoft’s upcoming Exchange 2010.

We will definitely be taking a look at Zimra in the weeks ahead.
